Oh, the milestones...

She's in her own room tonight. For the first time in her life, she's sleeping all by herself. I thought that I'd be happy about this transition, but I'm a little sad, too.

She's getting so big now! She rolled from her tummy to her back twice the other day. Last night she slept 8 1/2 hours straight (Sorry, Jen, but I had to mention it!).

She's growing up, and it seems, she's growing up all at once.

Oh, I'm happy to decorate a nursery (finally!). And I'm certainly happy to get a good night's sleep. But I miss that newborn cry. Her once wrinkly skin is filling out. She now has chubby cheeks and an extra chin. She's even starting to grow out of her 0-3 months old clothes.

My little girl is growing up, and she'll never be this little again. Mental note to self: treasure every moment, even the poopy ones...

Oh it does go so fast. My baby boy is turning 2 tomorrow and I wonder where the days went, let alone the years. I agree treasure every moment.
