What a year!
I just realized that I've been blogging for more than a year now. A year! I can't believe it's been that long! So many things have changed in this past year. A year ago, I was in a dark place after having endured me second miscarriage in February. This February, I gave birth. You can't get more drastic of a change than that!
This blog has been a very important place for me, a very important piece of me for the past year. This blog has been a friend who always understands and accepts me, a place where people always seem to understand and accept me. This blog has allowed me to express my innermost feelings and thoughts. This blog has allowed me to heal a little bit and grow a lot.
In the past year, I've made many new friends on this blog, and I've deepened other friendships. I found my Sistas here.
Thank you readers and Sistas for always being there for me in the past year. Thank you for your support, wisdom, and humor. Oh, and thanks for the cyber bitch-slapping when I needed it, too!!

I was thinking the other day that its been about a year since you went to Italy, hasn't it?
What would we do without blogging? It gets all the ugliness out of us so that it doesn't have to make its home inside us. And it lets us share our joy.
If you want to know what life is like...how people actually live and what they feel there is no better way to experience it than blogging.
Hope we do it another year!

I don't have the honor of having spent that whole last year with you, but I'm happy to have met you and followed you on some of your journey!! You put it perfectly...blogging is therapeutic, getting it all no matter what "it" is. I plan on spending the next year with you on your journey!
