These slippers were given to me over Christmas so that I can wear them to the hospital for Charm's arrival. This way I don't have to worry about what my feet look like, right??
They cracked me up! And I will wear them, too!!
Things are going well here. Just getting stuff done here and there. I bought a book called "The Girlfriends' Guide to Baby Gear" that is a good resource for lists of what to do and what you need. I had no idea that I will need 100 diapers for the first week home!!!!! Yikes!! So now I have my list!

This weekend I head home for my shower. I can't believe that we've made it this far. I can't believe that I'm going to be the guest of honor at a BABY shower!!!! I'm really looking forward to it. And you know I can't help checking in on my registry daily to see what's been bought!! This is better than Christmas!!!!

I did the same thing with my wedding registry - I'm sure I'll do it again with the baby registry.

Those slippers are a hoot! I love them!
That book is also great. I bought it when I was pregnant with Arabella...I suppose I should reread it. I liked Vicky Iovine's Pregnancy guide so I figured I'd give her baby gear book a shot, too. I also bought her book on suriving the 1st year after the baby comes...haven't read it yet, but I hope it's just as good.
As for the diapers, wait til you're changing them! LOL! ;)
Yeah, I agree. Post the list when you get it compiled. I've got no clue! My latest book is Baby Bargains by __ and __ Levine (I think!) It is a great resource and they also say at least 100 diapers! EEK!!

Cute slippers! Make sure you remember what they look like. Before you know it Charm will be too big for you to see them anymore.

I read the girlfriends guide to pregnancy while I was pregnant and LOVED it. I tried looking for more books by the "girlfriends", but couldn't find any. I may have to check somewhere online, although I don't know how much good it will do me especially since my little girl is 9 months old now!
