Unpacking...

So the move went well yesterday. Everything is here in our apartment in PA. I think everything made it, anyway. I can't find anything!! I assume that it will all turn up at some point.

So the movers worked their butts off yesterday for 6 hours in freezing weather. The high temperature yesterday was 15 degrees. Oh, and the front door was open all day, so the temperature in the apartment was 50 degrees. I didn't feel completely thawed out until last night when I curled up in bed.

Oh, and that was the best feeling ever! I spent much of yesterday afternoon putting our bed together (Sleep number bed--a little complicated to assemble), gathering things that we needed in the bathroom for showers, etc. and doing laundry of sheets and towels. By the time the movers were finished, almost everything was finished. So I paid the movers and sent them away while dh surprised me by getting the sheets out of the dryer and making the bed. So, once the movers were gone, we climbed into a toasty warm bed for a little nap. Ahhhh...

So I was exhausted last night! I had a couple of Braxton-Hicks contractions, so dh wouldn't let me do a thing (Thank God!! It felt so good to just sit on the couch!!). He made dinner, and we went to bed early.

I feel much better today, although I'm still worn out. Dh unpacked a few more boxes, and we ran a couple of errands. But that is it for today.

Tomorrow, we get our high speed cable internet set up! I'm looking forward to it as this dial-up connection is killing me!!

Thursday we leave town for my home-town. I can't wait!

So, all is well, although exhausting!! I haven't been able to catch up with everybody's blogs (thank you, dial-up!), but I will after the Holidays.

Meanwhile, I wish everyone a very happy Christmas. You are all in my heart during this holiday season.

Glad to hear the move went well! It will take a while to find everything, but as long as it's there, that's all that matters. Have a wonderful holiday with your family!!
