Catching up...

Ok, ok, I know, I've been a bad blogger! I'm sorry that I haven't been around much lately. There is just so much going on around here! But I know that I should jump in here when I can. It will help keep my stress level down. And the activity is only going to get worse before it gets better. I will be completely disconnected for a little while. Ugh! That will be hard!

So tomorrow, I turn 27 weeks. 27 weeks!! That's only one week away from the third friggin' trimester!! When did this happen??!!! And I expect, with all that we have going on in the near future, that the third trimester will go by very quickly. I will have to make time to stop and smell the roses. You are all welcome to remind me, if it seems that I need it!

So here's the latest on all the non-pregnancy stuff.

We are under contract on the house. We were in PA last weekend making selections on tile, floorcovering, appliances, etc. We have 85% of the selections made, and the rest will wait until January. The house looks great, and I feel really excited about it. It will be pretty cool to see it all come together. We built this house, so, we've been through this once before, but somehow, knowing that this is where I'll be raising my Charm, this time it's even more exciting.

We move one week from today. Well, the movers come and pick up our stuff, anyway. For whatever reason, it takes them a couple of days to get to PA. So after the movers leave, we will sedate the cats (they both have high anxiety about being in a car. They cry, poop, and puke the whole time! Not motion sickness, anxiety!), and dh and I will set out to PA. The cats are going straight to a very nice "camp" that I've found, and they will spend the holidays there. I hate to leave them there for so long, but I don't have any other choice. We wont have a place to live for a couple of days, and then we are leaving a couple of days after that. I don't know anyone in town who could help, so I'm stuck with the kennel. Anyway, we will move into our apartment on Monday or Tuesday, when our stuff is delivered. And then we will leave town on Thursday to fly to St. Louis for Christmas.

Did everyone follow that? There will be a test.

So I will be out of touch for a while. Don't worry about me. I'm fine, just trying to get settled in somewhere!

I hope to take some belly shots tonight before dh and I go out to dinner. We are having dinner with all of his staff and colleagues. A holiday/goodbye dinner. They are a wonderful group, who have made both of us really feel at home here. Anyway, since I'll go to the trouble of putting on makeup and everything (something that I rarely do!), I try to get a picture, too. Look for it to be posted tomorrow.

Alright, well, I need to get back to packing for a bit. I was just taking a little break. Back to work...
