Do I look fat to you?? ; )

This is the beer belly that I've been working on for the last 22 weeks. Just kidding. There's been no beer other than the root kind.

I've gained 2 pounds in the last week, and I've been feasting mostly on big salads. That's my new craving. Salads! Not donuts, or other high-calorie sweets. I'm not even carb-loading like I was many weeks ago. I'm eating a lot of low calorie, high-fiber salads. I think that we are going through a growth spurt! My skin feels stretched to it's limits, and as you can see, my abs are no longer winning the battle.

But I feel pretty good mostly. My back is pretty uncomfortable after tossing and turning all night trying to find a comfortable position in bed. I have a body pillow (which I named Elmer. He's my boyfriend), but that's not even enough to make me comfortable. My back feels great all day. It's just at night when I have the problem.

That's my only complaint. Otherwise, I'm loving every minute of this. I'm loving every kick and punch. We can actually watch the kicks through my skin now. Pretty cool.

Thanks to everyone leaving comments on why you voted boy or girl! It's fun to read! I just bought a book filled with the older wives tales of gender prediction. I'm going to test with some of those, and I'll be sure to post the results. We'll have to see which ones hold up!

I have to disagree with the fashionistas out there, though. Black is not necessarily a slimming color!!
