Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall...

As I find that I'm looking more and more like said Humpty Dumpty, I also find that I'm having similar problems staying upright. Yup, I fell again. This time in the middle of the day. Dh and I were headed out for a walk on this cold, foggy Autumn day, and as I was putting on my scarf, I missed the last step. Down I tumbled onto the concrete floor of the garage. Damn, that hurt. I fell on my knees and hands, so all is fine with my head (not that I have much use for that these days) and my belly. But my twisted ankle is starting to throb. So I guess that I'd better be a good girl and go back to my place on the couch where I will sit, much like Al Bundy with my hand down my pants (to fell Charm kick) and an ice pack on my foot. And so I think that this makes me the official President of the Clumsy Women's Council...

OMG, that sounds awful! I hope you're feeling better and enjoying the trick-or-treaters tonight. (Happy Halloween, btw!)

I'm so sorry I wasn't around Friday to offer you some support when you were feeling scared and emotional. I don't think those times ever leave completely, but I'm glad you were feeling better the next day. Dreams and our subconcious can do a number on us!!

So did you get in for another sneak u/s this weekend?? Glad RLC is still kicking strong. Keep it up, little one!!

Oh, and I'm definitely still good for Thursday if you are, so we'll just have to determine the time and place. Yay!

((((hugs))))

Ugh .. falling is my biggest fear when pregnant. I am clumsy enough when not pregnant. I dread the icey weather time coming up in winter. I remember when I was pregnant with Chip my work made sure that some of the guys went out and scraped the path clear of any ice what so ever for fear that I might slip and fall.

It's a wonder that I haven't fallen yet because I am so off-balance. I keep bumping into walls or grabbing onto things for support as I clumsily walk around.

We passed out candy too, it was fun - especially thinking about what we get to look forward to.

Christine - Ouch!! I guess it's true what they say about losing your balance when you start to get further along in pregnancy. I am laughing, picturing you in the Al Bundy position - hehe!
