I'm having a baby!

I said those words to myself on the drive home from the doctor's office today. That's the first time that I've said those words. That's the first time that I've let myself think those words. Then I cried. The entire way home. I had the windows down. The weather is beautiful here. I found an amazing sense of peace on my drive home. It was wonderful.

So the appointment went well!

I not only got to hear the little heartbeat on the Doppler (Yay!), but the doc decided that she wanted a peek, too. So we did another u/s! It's starting to look more like a person in there, and less like a shrimp cocktail! In just a few days' time! I saw the umbilical cord, and two little femurs! It has legs! And little bones inside!

I really just can't believe it. I think it's finally starting to hit me. I think I'm having a baby.

Keep saying it girl - you ARE having a baby (and luckily not a shrimp cocktail)! That is awesome! I'm glad you're finally letting yourself believe it.
