8 weeks, 1 day--An Ode to the God of Porcelin

I just puked. I was so hungry before, so I made a PB&J sandwich. It tasted so good (the first time, anyway!), and then without warning-BAM! I wasn't nauseous before hand. THere was no warning.

I always thought that morning sickness would be like having the stomach flu. You know, you feel queasy, then full-blown nausea, etc, etc. But no. This is different. I haven't been feeling naseous lately, but I've been close to losing my lunch at least once a day. And then today, I did. No warning, no nausea, just messy.

Hmph! Who knew!

So I'm feeling a little better about things now. Isn't is just strange what restores our faith? I'm so demented--Yay! I puked!!

I've decided to go into Paul's office this coming weekend to have another u/s. I will be close to 9 weeks, which is when I found out that I had lost the first pregnancy. It will just be good to see/hear that heartbeat around that time. I need to have reassurance that this little one is going to make it. It will get me through until the next appointment at the end of the month.

I agree! How totally awesome (and unfair at the same time) that you can sneak in whenever you want for an u/s!! TOTALLY jealous!
Can you upload pics for us?
Oh, and YEAH for the puking! (hope it doesn't get TOO bad!)

Christine!
That's how it was for me. I'd feel fine and be eating, but the moment something else--let's say a glass of juice touched my lips-BAM it all came back up with no warning. One day I threw up in every trashcan in the house because it would come so fast I had to get something quick!
SO glad to see you're experiencing it, too! Can't wait to hear your 9week u/s report! You're still in my prayers.

Yaaaaaaay, you puked! :) Yes, we are all so very twisted in the aftermath of m/c. So glad the bean (excuse me, Rocky Lucky Charm) seems to be moving about and growing in there. That's a GREAT sign. Make sure to let us know how good it feels to see that h/b again this weekend!
