100 Things...
I've had the beginnings of so many entries in my head, but they never seem to make it to the screen. And they remain just beginnings. I'm so tired, and there is so much going on here with the house on the market and going out of town. I apologize for the lack of enthusiasm and blog entries. Next week will be better, I promise.
For today, I'm going to borrow (Thanks, Kether!!) an idea from a friend. 100 thing you don't know about me. I will fill in the blanks on occasion, so don't expect all 100 at once!!
1. I grew up in theatre. I danced for 18 years, worked professionally for a while, and competed nationally. I also performed in voice and drama. I loved ever minute of it, but I will never go back. I left due to the high pressure and a borderline eating disorder.
2. I was Sylvester at Six Flags of Mid-America. I performed in show and occasionally walked the park. I liked doing the show better because it was air-conditioned and noone sat on my tail. It was a lot of fun, despite the sweltering conditions.
That's all for now. I'll be back with more at another time...

OOoh. I love reading 100 things!
When I was in highschool I worked at the LA Zoo and one time I was the "guard" for Woody the Woodpecker. I really felt for him in that suit. It was *so* hot. But, then they had a pretty good union that took very good care of them (We borrowed them from Universal Studios). Anyway, I was suprised at how people thought they could poke/prod and otherwise molest a guy in a suit. I've had new respect for characters ever since!
And a dancer, cool. what kind of dance?
The 2/100 things were very interesting! Don't push yourself to do too much - you need your rest!
I'm so relieved to know that someone else has dropped the pee cup! I don't feel quite so dorky now. I guess I'm out of practice - it's been a while since I peed on anything! LOL

Way cool, Christine! (Great idea, Kether!)
I know what you mean about the blog entries in your head...that's always happening to me, but then once I'm in front of the computer, I either don't have time to am too tired to say much of anything.
Sending mental ((hugs)) to you and little RLC...
