Quick update...then a nap...

Ok, I got back from the OB appointment.  I have successfully survived my first OB appointment without a D&C or miscarriage of any kind!
 
The baby measured right on again.  My uterus is measuring a little big, which the doc said is good.  (What's the saying?  Cold feet, big uterus, warm heart??)  Unfortunately, the doc's ultrasound machine was a very basic one, so we could not listen to the heartbeat or measure the rate.  But you see the obvious flickering on the screen, and the doc said that it looked like it was flickering at a good speed. (Um, ok?)
 
I got my little welcome packet, made my next appointment (4 weeks from today), and had many questions answered.  My due date has been changed (for their records only), because they insist on using the LMP wheel, even though I have complete confirmation of when I ovulated.  whatever!  The baby doesn't know what date he or she is supposed to arrive, so it really doesn't matter.  I'm keeping the same tickers and due date information for myself, though.  Just 'cuz.
 
But for now, I'm off for a nap.  I'm exhausted.  My stomach woke me up at 5:00 this morning growling away.  So I got up and ate.  Then I became more nauseous than ever.  I still haven't been able to get that prenatal vitamin down today.  My OB recommends two Flintstone vitamins for days like this!  I thought that was funny.
 
Ok, off to bed.  I just wanted to get an update in, because I know that a few people will be looking for it...Love you, Sista's!
