Oh, the smell!! (NOT!)

So here is the picture of the stinky flower that Mom and I saw the other day:

It was closed already, and didn't smell anymore, but I guess that it was cool to see. It is called a Titan Arum (Corpse Flower). Named so because it smells like rotting flesh when blooming. There was a Simpson's episode about a flower like this. The reaction of the people of Connecticut has been much the same. Anyway, it's the first one that has bloomed in New England, our own little piece of the rain forest, and I'm glad that I saw it (and even more glad that I didn't have to smell it!!)

Not much new is happening here. The symptoms are still the same. My parents are still here. We're having a good time, but most of all, I just want to sleep.
