Update on our friend...

Our friend that I mentioned in my last post received further information on her kareotyping, and it is good news.

The docs also kareotyped the parents, and one of the parents also has this weird genetic combination. There is nothing wrong with him physically, developmentally, or mentally, so there's no reason that the baby won't be perfect! Rather, the baby has the chance as any other baby of being normal. Apparently, this weird gene combo don't effect anything!

We were so happy to hear the news! No sadness involved for me either. I'm still very afraid for her, but I'm not bitter. At least not at this moment! My feelings can change on a dime sometimes when it comes to babies and fertility issues.
