Mothers' Day

I want to start out by wishing everyone out there a Happy Mothers' Day. We are all mothers, even if our children are not living with us here on Earth.

I had thought about ignoring this day. While in Italy, I saw no reminders that this day was coming. Apparently, they don't celebrate it over there. It was nice that it wasn't in my face, but I feel like it sort of snuck up on me.

I can't ignore it. I know that no one around me will acknowledge me today, so I'm going to take it into my own hands.

I bought myself a Mothers' Day gift. It's a little bracelet that I found on this great website. Someone on one of the message boards that I'm on posted the site. There are wonderful ways to remember those who've you've lost in your life. They really have some unique things.

  • Anyway, I ordered a bracelet--"Hope and Remembrance" I couldn't say it any better. That is what I feel today.

    Hope and remembrance.

    Love to you all.
